This is one of the games that many Star Wars Fans and just fans of gaming have been waiting for because of the inclusion of an environment that is nearly indestructible or that it responds accordingly to your force powers. Lucas Arts has embedded 3 different Engines into this game play to give us an experience like none other, at least this is their intention. I would have to agree on this part..it felt like I was GOD. LOL. But enough expose, let's get to the meat.

Story: 10/10
You are "Star Killer" an apprentice Sith under spy under the helm of Darth Vader to infiltrate the inner workings of the Empire. Interesting plot note, you are a bad guy, spying on the bad guy. Either way, your role is simple, to unleash havoc to anyone in your way in your quest of gaining new information for Darth Vader and unraveling a story that actually gives you a closer look into the Universe of the Star Wars Franchise.
The story to say the least is the main reason I found it a little hard to put down, it kept me wondering what was next. Why did he do that? Does he like that girl? Is there a something else going on here that I don't know of? Why send him to kill off those people? What is really going on? Heh, with that last question, it literally blew my mind on how much the story had tied into the movies, books and in a whole the Star Wars Universe, more so than any other game I've experience within the Star Wars Franchise.
I would say because of that one WOW Factor for me, I'd give the story 10/10. It leaves itself for more to be explained, but not dragged out. It sort of makes sense, since I've been told this draws from a book already made, but then again, sometimes books to games doesn't get a good translation.
Gameplay: 9.5/10
Now even though I mentioned the meat is the story, to me it is. It gives me a reason to play, even in if in a simplistic manner, but the heart is the game play mechanics. If there is no fun in playing a game, no matter how others may think it is repetitive, if it retains that fun factor to the individual, it SHINES. Let's be honest here, most if not all games contain a level of repetitive game play: Shoot here, talk there, go here to advance story, etc.
However, this is always subjective, but for me the game play of having a somewhat super powerful, force wielding, gun-ho crazy Sith where I get to throw, swing, push, electrocute, choke, stab, bomb my enemies OVER and OVER again, never lost its luster for me.
It is the one thing I was expecting from older Star War games that ability to do all those moves in the movies. Granted I couldn't do them all, but it is one heck of an improvement from before and one I gladly appreciated.
I will say it isn't without its downfall. The way the lock on feature handles is a bit loose at times, I would've like the option to pin-point my selection of Storm Trooper or object at that instant, but sometimes the closer object was selected. It wasn't that big of a deal, but something I believe they would fix in future Star Wars Games.

Sound: 10/10
Onto the Audio ecstasy that is Sound. I'll keep this one brief ^_^, because honestly the musical scores went with their respective environments and backgrounds giving me that feeling of being in that Star Wars Universe I've grown to love. All those laser sounds, people grunting, crying for help as I toss them mercilessly outside into the spacial abyss with the whoosh of the windows locking down not to suck all the air out of the space station was just very well done and immersive for me.
Graphics: 10/10
Graphics are just an understatement to this game. It does extremely well in making me believe I'm in those weird environments that are known or even unknown to the Star Wars Universe. I especially loved the planet Felucia which was all of plants, very confusing, but fun and a little eerie on how the reaction from the plants response was to tossing their own people against it. It did so well that it looked beautiful on the PS3 and 360. A testament to the great graphics these systems supply to the gamer.
I will note that I didn't experience any slowdowns or glitches of texture clippings as I have seen others make mention of. Don't know what the difference between my game play and theirs, but if it did happen I would change the score accordingly, i.e. take a half a point away.)
Challenge
There is a challenge aspect as they have you wanting to increase the difficulty which in turn makes our fights a bit harder. It makes the Storm Troopers a bit longer to kill which to me, is its only downside because I believe since I'm more powerful they should be easily disposable.
However it also does turn up the Jedi's powers, making your fights with them a bit longer, but more strategic. That to me, makes sense, because since I'm an apprentice taking on full fledge Jedi, I would definitely expect a challenge from them, more so than on Normal difficulty, even though the Normal wasn't a walk in the park.
Replay Value: 7/10
Its replay value stems from those extra difficulties you want to play to gain achievements within the 360 environment and trophies I do believe in the PS3 environment. You can go back and get light crystals to boost up your players attributes to make him a more FULL FLEDGE powerful Force user and from what I gather 2 different choices in the end you could make that alters the story a bit. (I only chose one and haven't gone back to the other mainly because of time constraints, but I definitely want to revisit)
Note about score: It could've given me a bit more, but I guess that's what those New DLC added, I haven't played them, so I couldn't tell you, maybe at some other time.
Overall
All in all, this game met my expectations and then some: an awesome thrill ride of Star Wars Force Pushing, Gripping, and Light saber throwing proportions. I know others may think it isn't worth the $60, but to be honest, I believe no game is worth $60 (unless it's doing my taxes or guarantees me some money back over time
I would say if you still feel doubtful, buy this game on sale or maybe rent in case you're not sure. Possibly visit a buddy's house to try it out, but if you enjoy the force powers no matter how many times you toss a storm trooper into other storm troopers, then you will enjoy. It is definitely FUN, at least to me.
Final Score: 9/10

The latest Star Wars Lego set recreates a vehicle seen only briefly in the final dramatic moments of Star Wars Episode Three Revenge Of The Sith. Emperor Palpatine's Shuttle flew in over the lava wastes of Mustafar and rescued a badly injured ex-Jedi who was once known as Anakin Skywalker. Soon after being brought on board the shuttle Anakin, now known as Darth Vader was fitted with his iconic black helmet and suit to sustain his body and keep it alive, despite horrific injuries.
Lego set 8096, comes with 592 pieces and features the shuttle as well as four figures. Along with a hard to find Emperor Palpatine minifig the set also features a wounded Darth Vader (no doubt exclusive to this set), a clone pilot to fly the shuttle and a medical droid to tend to Vader until he arrives at the Emperor's temple in Coruscant.
The shuttle vehicle obviously constitutes the main part of this set. The cockpit opens and the clone pilot can be seated inside. Inside the main area of the ship there is room for other figures to sit as well as a medical area where Vader is given medical attention. Actually the set shifts the creation of the mechanical Vader from Palpatine's temple to the shuttle itself and includes a play mechanism to attach his helmet and then lift Vader up from horizontal, as depicted in the "Lord Vader...Rise" scene in the film.
The shuttle does look a little awkward, the interior is quite shallow much like last year's Republic Attack Shuttle. Having said that, the model does match the one in the film well and is obviously a precursor to the beautiful Imperial Shuttle that graced the saga's Original Trilogy. While it will not appeal to casual fans of the Star Wars saga, dedicated Lego Star Wars fans will be drawn to the new figures and the high piece count of the set.

We all love a happy ending, especially after a long and seemingly torturous path through painful conflict after painful conflict. To finally see the good guys win over the bad guys is one thing, but to achieve a complete moral victory is something else entirely. That is why we wholeheartedly recommend "Return Of The Jedi," the third installment of the original Star Wars trilogy.
Our tale starts out just where the previous one ended, albeit in a different place. Solo, a prisoner of Jabba the Hut, is rescued by his buddies, who kill everybody in the process. Luke, who has advanced his Jedi training, gives a demonstration of his skills through his skillful fighting of a horrendous monster that Jabba keeps solely for the purpose of keeping out intruders. After Han is out of hot water, they continue their mission.
Once again, they separate. Han, Leia and the rest go to the new rebel base to build up their strength, while Luke returns to finish his Jedi training with Yoda. However, Yoda is old, and ill, and Luke sees him breath his last. When he burns Yoda's body, he learns of the secret. Princess Leia is his sister. They were separated at birth to prevent discovery by Darth Vader, their father. Luke returns to his friends.
When they arrive at the rebel base, they learn of yet another, more powerful, death star being constructed. However, this one is much stronger than the previous one, and can destroy planets with much more strength and viciousness. They rebels want to destroy it, but it is being protected by a force field being generated on the planet of Endor.
The fight between imperial and rebel forces ensues as they battle over control of the death star protecting force field generator. A breathtaking chase is undertaken through some huge trees, and the battle is on. Luke knows that in order to become a full fledged Jedi master, he must confront Vader, his arch nemesis. Luke believes that there is still good inside Vader, and he can be turned to the good side.
Finally, the confrontation everybody has been waiting for. Luke is presented to the evil emperor by Darth Vader. Vader would like the emperor to be killed by Luke, so they can rule the galaxy together, as father and son. The emperor would like Luke to replace Vader, as he feels his power of the force is stronger. Luke, however, has other plans. Plans that don't involve death and destruction. And fortunately, Luke's plans are the ones that come out on top. Vader kills the emperor, and just before he dies, Vader turns back to the good side of the force, and all is right again. Good triumphs over evil. and the whole galaxy applauds.

The Star Wars Battlefront franchise has always focused on multiplayer action, placing players in the boots of generic soldiers on both sides of the Empire and Alliance as they fought for bragging rights across well known conflicts. However, up until now, the series has remained far away from the Nintendo DS, leaving Nintendo handheld Star Wars fans in the cold. N-Space, along with LucasArts, chose to correct that issue with their recent release of Star Wars Battlefront: Elite Squadron, which focuses more on the single player experience than the multiplayer features that the series is known for.

Detailed review of the LEGO Star Wars Armored Assault Tank
In Star Wars Episode I, the armored assault tank led an army of Separatist super battle droids to meet the gungans in battle.
LEGO did an outstanding job in recreating this awsome Star Wars vehicle!
Pruduct Features:
*New 2009 Clone Wars edition with tons of action play
*Includes: Yoda, Clone Trooper, 2 Battle Droids and 3 new Super Battle Droids with rocket-launcher arms
*Lift the compartment hatch and play inside; turret spins 360 degrees and includes a detachable speeder
*Measures 8 inches wide by 8 inches long
*407 pieces
Benefits:
*The new Yoda has a rubber head, a little bit of grey hair, and a lightsaber.
*All 3 of the new super battle droids come with new rocket-launcher arms.
The LEGO Star Wars Armored Assault Tank is durable and has some cool features.
* a battle droid can sit inside the top hatch. (After it is assembled)
* On both sides of the AAT there are laser cannons which contain flick fire missles that can be manually fired (don't worry, they aren't real).
* There is a speeder which is hooked inside the compartment hatch. The speeder can be taken out of the AAT and be used as a transport!
Also, The LEGO Star Wars Armored Assault Tank is also a lot of fun to build. It won't take weeks to put together, but it will keep children busy doing something constructive.
As you can see, this is a great set! In my opinion, one of the best sets that LEGO has. For more information on Lego Star Wars Toys, including links to order, please visit: The LEGO Star Wars Armored Assault Tank Page

In what is likely the most anticipated, and most successful sequel of recent history, "The Empire Strikes Back," does not disappoint. This movie is filled with the same overriding themes, the same good vs. evil struggles and the same fantastic action sequences that made the first movie so incredibly successful. This story continues along the "hero's journey" motif, and we get to learn a lot more about "The Force." In short, this movie is an absolute must see, and must own DVD.
The movie starts of short time after the previous movie ended. Our heroes are somewhere on this seemingly abandoned ice planet, in an attempt to hide out from the empire, led by none other that Darth Vader, whose situation based on events of the previous movie is now known. We see him bowing down the Emperor himself, and realize he isn't the top dog after all.
It doesn't take long for the empire to find the rebels hideout, and a battle for their escape ensues. Only this time, they split up. To avoid being caught by the evil empire, this is the only thing to do. Han Solo, Princess Leia, and C3PO head for a station run by Han's buddy, while Luke heads off to meet up with some mysterious character, a character that will become one of the most famous fictional characters ever created.
We follow Han And Leia through an asteroid field, and other adventures before they finally arrive on Han's buddies outpost, only to find the empire, including Darth Vader, has arrived before them, and has forced Han's buddy into falling into a trap. It seems that the all powerful Darth Vader is in search of something.
Meanwhile, we see Luke land on some jungle planet out in the middle of nowhere. His ship sinks into a swamp, and he feels he may be in the wrong place. He comes across Yoda, last in a long line of Jedi Knights. He puts Luke through a rigorous training, both mental and physical, teaching him the ways of the force. Some of the most powerful, metaphysical truths of the universe are revealed during the interactions between Luke And Yoda. We also learn that in order to become a true Jedi, Luke must face Vader. Something Yoda fears he is not quite ready for.
Luke, through his growing powers of the force, sense that his friends are in danger, and leaves before his training is complete. We see Ben's ghost appear, and speak with Yoda. They mention that there is "one other" potential Jedi who may save the universe, but we don't know who. Luke arrives at the station where his friends are kept captive, and we learn that this was Darth Vader's plan all along. To take Luke and bring to the emperor. We of course learn the most shocking revelation in all of movie history, but you won't hear it here if you haven't seen this spellbinding film. This is trilogy that you must own. If you can afford it, we recommend the entire box set. This is movie making at its most brilliant.

Star Wars Battlefront: Renegade Squadron is a PSP exclusive video game that delves further in a galaxy far, far away. The storyline in the game revolves around Han Solo and the Renegade Squadron. In terms of the plot, it is told from the perspective of commander Col Serra. A comic style (ala Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops and Max Payne) was used to divulge the storyline in the game. The game begins with a customizable character select screen. Gamers can pick the race, gender, and various other traits that can be assigned to a character. The gameplay is about a capture the base mode or a retrieve an item mode. Avid fans of the Star Wars Battlefront series will feel right at home when they acquire bases. It is done in the same exact manner. All you do to capture a command post is stand near a bright light and wait for the light to change colors. After you have captured a base, you can use it to alter gear, weapons, and attributes. The characters in the game have eight designations that can be given to them. This is a checks and balance system that works well. In addition to the land battles, there are space aircraft fights. Each space battle starts with your character in a hanger that is adjacent to a spacecraft such as an X-Wing or TIE Bomber. Gamers will be shooting lasers and proton rockets in no time.
You can even do the same things you were able to do in previous iteration of Star Wars Battlefront. This includes flying your aircraft into an opponents base, and destroying anything that moves. Count Dooku, Mace Windu, Luke Skywalker, and the most nefarious Darth Vader are all playable characters in the game. All of those men are proficient in the force and can really pulverize foes (only when you are controlling them). The multiplayer in the game is definitely the selling point of Star Wars Battlefront: Renegade Squadron. Up to sixteen players can duke it out against each other; that is grandiose for PSP standards. Unfortunately, the controls in the game are mildly disorganized. I never felt like I was in complete control of my character’s actions. For instance, I was only able to fire at adversaries that were directly in front of me. There is no manual aiming in the game, so you have to be facing right at your target to damage them. Furthermore, there is a locking on feature that works poorly. Fortunately, the lack of difficulty somewhat compensates for the disastrous controls but not completely. The game is not arduous even in the slightest. Eradicating the most menacing of foes (like Darth Vader) can be done is an immensely straightforward technique. I was not sure if this was asinine artificial intelligence or merely a gameplay glitch. For whatever reason, I was not elated about the combat in the game. All of the enemies in the game are about lining them up with your targeting reticule and unleashing a barrage of attacks. The exact same principle can be applied to the space action sequences. I have lost track of the plethora of times where all I did was literally fly around like a maniac for a lock on. There are several flaws with the camera angles that I am not even going to begin to discuss here. Moving around the battlefield is time-consuming and vexing. In regards to the audio, the weapons sounded exactly like I expected it to be. Lasers will have a Star Wars ambiance to them, and the traditional whizzing of the lightsabers is present. The graphics are absolutely abysmal for a PSP video game. Do not expect to see stunning visuals like the Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 in this game. I had high hopes for this game, and I really wanted to love it. But I just cannot do that. If you are a Star Wars addict, then you might get some enjoyment from this game. Otherwise, I would advocate waiting for the release of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed in 2008. Overall, Star Wars Battlefront: Renegade is a game that will displease the audience more than Natalie Portman’s portrayal of Queen Amidala. Can anyone tell me why Chewbacca did a much better job of acting that her? My point exactly.
